Behind the Scenes “Let It Go” Video Shoot 3
Only one more day until the World Premiere of the “Let It Go” video on GMC! I can hardly believe it! Thought I’d share a few more behind the scenes photos and some insight into how this all began.
I was honored to get the opportunity to work with Producer/Director Mil Cannon. Mil is well-known for his work on Grammy nominated projects with artists such as Usher, so when he agreed to direct and produce my first music video I was stoked to say the least. As this is a very personal & touching song for me, it was very important to me that whoever worked on this project have a clear understanding of the message I was trying to convey with the video.
After a 10 minute conversation with Mil, he came back to me with a story line for the video and I was blown away. Tears came to my eyes and I knew that he was exactly the artist to partner with to make this video a success. I hope that once you see it, your heart will be touched and you will agree. Mil put his heart and soul into the making of this video and I will be forever grateful for his passion and hard work.
We had such a great crew working on this shoot. As you can tell from these photos, while we all worked hard, we had some fun too!
We shot this in a period of two days in the middle of summer in Georgia.
I came away with some pink arms and was pretty dehydrated, but it was worth every single minute.
Things just seemed to fall into place with everything surrounding the making of this video. I was even able to jump in on the production side and earn my first producer’s credit – from casting all of the scenes to location scouting and props, I sure learned a lot and enjoyed every bit. Who knows? Maybe there is more production work in my future!
Thanks for all of your support! Won’t be long now ’til I get to share all of our hard work with all of you. I just can’t wait!
XO, Mandy
